Four children actively participated in the World Maths Day Competition held from the 22nd-24th March.
They competed with other children from around the world and proudly received their certificate of achievements. Well done to Kaira, Olivia, Carl-Junior and Herjran!
Pollards Hill Library in Merton became a buzz of activity as parents signed up on Events-brite to secure free spaces for their children to try our taster sessions.
Descriptive writing with Ms Remi….’The Iron Man’ was a very interesting book to read and write about.
MATHS & ART Taster sessions
10 stations were set up for children to think like MATHEMATICIANS with the clock ticking away!
They had to crack codes, sort and match shapes to their names and lots more that we couldn’t get to complete them because we simply ran out of time! We aim to do better in a bigger space at our next workshop.
LEARNING KEYS went to town with their Artwork with ‘MARK MAKING’. At first 16 children signed up and then it shot up to 28 children but we managed it all in the end and had so much fun!
