A long time ago, in the land of pencils, papers, sharpeners and rubbers, there lived a shiny, rose gold sketch pencil called Abigail.

The pencil nearly all its life between the pages of a quiz book. One bright sunny day, she got so bored and tired because she was used to doing the same thing nearly every day. There was no fun or excitement and she wanted to make some friends.

Suddenly, one day Abigail got thrown into the recycling bin by accident. Can you imagine how she felt when she saw the other pencils papers, sharpeners and rubbers?

She danced, she bounced, she jumped and she spun around with joy! Finally, she had some friends!
All the broken pencils, rubbers, sharpeners and crumpled papers started chatting happily to each other.

While they were chatting, the bin was been carried away to be tipped into the recycling truck without them knowing.
Without warning, Abigail was tipped out of the bin and started rolling back inside the house.

First, she went under the couch, next she went under the heater, later she rolled in between the pictures and finally slid into the corner of the front door.

Just then the doorbell rang.

It was the delivery man who had come to deliver a huge parcel.

As soon as he dropped the huge box, he stepped heavily on the tip of the rose, gold pencil which was by the front door.
Abigail, the shiny, rose, gold pencil flew up high and landed on top of the black crooked rooftop.

A few weeks later, some engineers came to place a grey satellite dish on top of the black, crooked roof.
Suddenly, he saw a sparkling rose, gold pencil shimmering in the bright sunlight so be picked it up and gently tucked it behind his right ear.

Finally, Abigail the pencil was safe and sound in her new exciting home.
